John Deere Field Days
Today we went to John Deere field days at the fairgrounds.
They had tractors of all shapes and sizes that you could drive.
The sales people were very relaxed, and pretty much left you alone.
We even got free lunch. The kids and Tim had a blast. I had to go along for all the picture moments, but I ended up driving some too. Please excuse the long slide show, I took 126 pictures, so I think I did a pretty good job getting it down to 23:)

IHC update ~finally
I am just now recovered enough from IHC to post some pics from our week. We had a really great time, but by Friday, I was rethinking the wisdom of going for all three days. We were able to have a room at the Crown, which was a big help with 5 kids. My Dad had a room right next door, and my brother and family were there for Wednesday and Thursday.
IHC is so much more fun when shared with family and friends. My best friend Lisa came from N.C. I have not seen her since July o6.
Thursday Tim spoke in Children's Chapel. The theme for Children's Chapel was about Nehemiah rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. Charlotte asked Tim to show the kids how a wall is built. He used foam "bricks". He did a really great job. So if any of your kids told you about the man who built a wall in Children's Chapel, it was Tim that did it.
We got home Friday afternoon, and Tim's cousin, Chris and Esther Hilling and their kids, spent the night with us. It was so nice being with them. We don't get to see them nearly enough. Sunday I found out that my cousin who lives in Canada, was traveling through, so they stopped and had lunch with us today. I had not seen them in over two years. I had already planned to have my aunt and uncle for dinner, when they came to Cincinnati to the flower show. So they are coming to eat tomorrow!:)
Its a good thing I love my family:)
I posted some pictures of IHC and Tim speaking. I will post pictures of our family visitors later.
ps I did not want to take my big camara to IHC so we took Charlie's new one. Some did not turn out to well, but I posted them anyway.

New Mower
Tim's big news this week, is that he got a new mower. His old mower was a commercial walk behind. It has been a great mower, but since his injury two years ago, it was harder and sometimes painful to use. So after deciding this was a need, and lots of shopping for a good deal, the Lord blessed us with a good mower at a good price.
Unfortunately the weather has been very cold and rainy. The wind chill was 31, when the mower was delivered. The next day, the sun was shining ,and it was a little warmer, so Tim bundle up and played-oops I mean mowed.
See post below for pictures of the new mower.

Sermon of Noah and a Rainbow.

Last night during church, we could see part of a rainbow through the window. Tim went out to take a picture. It was a double rainbow, and you could see the whole thing. The pictures don't show it, but the colors were very vibrant. The preacher did not know about the rainbow and just happened to preach about Noah and his wife.

Thought For The Day

I read this scripture last night before I went to sleep. It was like a gentle hug from the LORD. I thought maybe someone could use the reminder today
Psalms 46
1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, Though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas.
3. Though the waters of it roar and are troubled. Though the Mountains tremble with their swelling.
4. There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, The holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5. God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
6. The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted.
7. Yahweh of host is with us. the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8. Come, see Yahweh's works, What desolations he has made in the earth.
9. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
10."Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."
11. Yahweh of Host is with us. The God if Jacob is our refuge.
WE SERVE A GREAT GOD!!!
